We recommend Main Beach, a long stretch of sand just 50m from The Surf House, for an easy workout session.
Explore the area
If you’re an early bird, you can’t beat catching the sunrise from Cape Byron Lighthouse. The walk takes approx 1 hour from The Surf House, passing by popular surf spots, The Pass and Wategos Beach. Head up to the lighthouse lookout point for spectacular views of the ocean and Byron Bay town. It really is the perfect way to start your day, and let’s not forget about smashing that step count goal!
The neighbouring area of The Byron Hinterland is an awesome day trip option from Byron. Get away from the hustle and bustle as you head into the rainforest to hike, unwind and reconnect with nature. Be sure to check out one of our favourite hidden spots, Killen Falls for a dreamy waterfall swim.
