1. Byron Run Club
Byron Run Club’s mission is to build community through movement. Whether you run, walk or jog, you can come down and join this growing group, where inclusivity and community is a top priority. They meet Wednesday nights for high intensity speed nights, and Sunday mornings for a social run, walk or jog.
2. Surf Sisters Byron Bay
Empowering and connecting women who surf, the Surf Sisters Byron Bay group organises regular surf meetups and events in the area. Most abilities and all ages are welcome, and it’s completely free to join. A beautiful way to make friends with like minded ocean-lovers.
3. Create In Byron
Create in Byron organises art workshops and gatherings across the Norther Rivers and Byron Bay region. From life drawing classes to film nights to clay sessions, this is a great social group to meet likeminded new people while also tapping into a whole range of creative hobbies and pursuits.
4. Chess Club
Twice a week, players of all ages and ratings gather at the Byron Bay RSL for social chess matches. The group meets on Mondays at 5:00pm and Saturdays at 2:30pm, and casual players are welcome!

The Play Clubbe has a mission to revitalise social connection through hobbies, creativity and play. It sounds like a lot of fun because… it is! As well as monthly Book Clubs, those in the Clubbe can expect to be inspired with regular hobby inspiration, DIY tutorials and get together events over food and drink.

Fancy a social game of sport? You’re in luck! The Cavanbah Centre hosts great social sessions of pickleball, futsal, volleyball and scrimmage every week. It’s just $8 per session, and a great opportunity to make friends through sport!
