Written by The Surf House on .

In charge of planning your group getaway to Byron Bay? Booking restaurants and bars for large groups can be tricky, but luckily there are some fantastic options available for groups travelling together in Byron Bay. Take a look at our favourite bars and restaurants for group bookings:

Restaurants

Bang Bang

Bang Bang serves up some of the best Asian fusion cuisine in town with a cosy ambience, friendly waitstaff and great cocktails (the Castaway Caprioska is a personal fave!) Groups of 2 or more can order from the menu or choose the ‘Bang-quet’ option.

Lightyears Asian Bar & Diner

Another Asian delight for the senses, Lightyears Asian Bar & Diner offers tasty share-style food and unique cocktails in a bold and modern ‘Insta perfect’ setting. The bao buns are simply delicious and the miso corn is a must-try!

No Bones

Enjoy plant-based dining at its finest. No Bones offers a delightful menu for Vegans and food-lovers alike in the heart of Byron town. We love the Konjac ‘calamari’ strips and crispy fried chicken. Great vibes, mouthwatering food and animal and eco-friendly ethics – what’s not to love!

Harvest

A short drive from Byron Bay, locally owned Harvest in Newrybar showcases the best of seasonal produce in the Northern Rivers. Food is locally sourced from farmers, artisanal producers and Harvest’s edible gardens. Groups of 8 or more are welcome to try the 3-course set menu sampling a selection of local dishes from the menu.

Karkalla

Serving up locally sourced and seasonal produce with native indigenous ingredients, Karkalla is a unique treat for the tastebuds. Enjoy a simple (yet delicious) selection of cocktails and menu items inspired by the indigenous heritage of Karkalla’s founder, Mindy Woods, a proud Bundjalung woman of the Widjabul Wia-bul clan.
